Selling a company is like nothing else, not like selling a truck or even selling real estate. There is a lot to it. Usually, it takes a minimum of six months and sometimes an entire year to sell a company, so if you are thinking about selling the more details taken care of up front the better.
Buyers today are smart and usually know what they are looking for and are not going to give sellers hard cash without knowing all the details.
