Everyone has missteps along the way to achieving their goals. My first was not getting rid of my partner sooner and the second not firing a service manager who was stealing cash, equipment and customers until his thefts totaled over $50,000 ( in 1989 dollars no less!). I could have prosecuted him but didn’t as he had two children under 2 years old and I did not see the benefit to anyone to further pursue the claim. Live and learn friends.

” It’s not a mistake to make mistakes, it’s a mistake not to make them! EL. ” The founder of IBM Tom Watson said regarding mistakes, “The way to succeed is to double your error rate”. It’s part of learning. If we don’t make mistakes then we are not aggressive enough. Thanks for your comments John.

All of the mistakes pointed out, I have made over the years. If I had to pick one year as a turning point, it was 2004. I let a lot things compound and pile up that resulted in me thinking differently and quickly. I basically had to start over. I am looking forward to Ed’s visit to help me refine my processes and get me to the next level. I love the weekly videos.

Patrick – Looking forward to my visit with you and your team as well. The Harvesters have a blast making those videos, glad you like them and find them helpful!
