Harvest the Green is delighted to present the first in a series of interviews with landscape business owners who have completed their exit plans. We appreciate the generosity of these guests as they share their experiences with their peers.

We’ll be interviewing individuals who…

  • Sold and are retired, or are still involved with the business
  • Sold to family members or their management team
  • Bought a business
  • As well as other combinations of the above!

We’ll be asking them to tell their story — how they started their company, highlights and whether they thought about their exit, how they made their decision, what went well, what they would do differently. We will ask them for words of advice and what they are doing now as well as what it’s like to be on the “other side.” Each is a unique story and fascinating in their own right.

Guest speakers include:

  • Gene R. Grant, Jr., CEO and registered landscape architect, Grant & Power Landscaping Inc., West Chicago, Illinois
  • Brian Vidinhar, founder, Ultimate Innovations, Hawaii
  • Gerry Andrews, founder, Landscape Associates, Green Bay, Wisconsin

The Seller’s Stories will be a set of pre-recorded interviews with an introduction and summary remarks as well as insight into Project EverGreen the green industry’s national non-profit that uniquely provides a volunteer community service experience for lawn and landscape professionals through two key initiatives: GreenCare for Troops and GreenCare for Communities. Learn how to get involved and how to give back to military families and neighborhoods in need of well-maintained green space.

All registration fees will be donated to Project EverGreen.
