Exploring the Electric Revolution

Lawn and landscape companies have traditionally relied on gasoline-powered equipment, available in a myriad of shapes, sizes and brands. However, a significant shift is under way. Notably, California has introduced legislation banning the sale of small gasoline-powered landscape equipment, with other states contemplating similar measures. This legislative change poses a challenge for landscape company owners, prompting a pivot change toward electric equipment alternatives.

In response to this evolving landscape, this week’s Harvest video explores the conversation in an interview that took place at the EQUIP EXPO in Louisville, KY, last October. Harvesters Jud and Ed talked with Andrew Schofield, a product manager from Greenworks Commercial, to explore the company’s array of electric handheld landscape equipment. This discussion unveils the multitude of benefits associated with electric landscaping tools.

The Harvesters are championing this transition and advising all of our clientele to explore and experiment with these electric alternatives across various brands, dedicating at least one crew to this endeavor. This strategic approach aims to Harvest Their Potential by embracing the innovative advantages offered by electric landscape equipment.
