This week the Harvesters are talking with landscapers on the trade show floor at the Louisville Convention Center held just a few weeks ago.

They are asking a number of owners and managers what scares them going into the 2016 season.

Many said “finding good people”… does that scare you? If so, check out the Harvest Recruiting Kit for tons of ideas on how to find, attract, recruit, hire, and on-board the people you are looking for. Learn more here and enter code TURKEY50 for 50% off until this coming Monday evening.

Black Friday is one week early — don’t be a turkey, get the Kit and gobble up those ideas! If it doesn’t help we’ll give you a 100% refund. Check it out!

The problem of getting and retaining good employees is terrifying to the landscape industry. It is the reason we need a more robust H2B program that will get us the seasonal workers we need. Our government seems to fear the legal worker more than the illegal worker which explains why so many companies give up and hire the “undocumented”. The numbers allowed through H2B are woefully inadequate and the issue needs to be addressed more forcefully by all of us. Starting a relentless campaign aimed at all our senators and reps is a first step-just do it!
